Chip Ganassi stopped Alex Palou before Sunday’s race at Portland International Raceway and encouraged his driver to use the race to close out the IndyCar championship. Palou told the boss he planned to do it with a walk-off win. And he delivered. Palou is now a two-time IndyCar champion with Ganassi following a dominant run Sunday that gave him his series-leading fifth win of the season.

Soccer is a game in which players famously can’t use their hands. But what if you couldn’t use one of your legs? That’s the idea behind amputee soccer, which was created so people who have lost limbs or have limb differences can still enjoy the game. On a recent Saturday, PDX Plex, an indoor sports arena in Southwest Portland, hosted Portland’s first amputee soccer clinic.
