→Read MorePlay has wrapped up for the 34th Cajun Classic Wheelchair Tennis Tournament held at Lamar Tennis Center at the Paula G. Manship YMCA in Baton Rouge.
This year’s field was comprised of 100 professional and amateur players from 20 countries and 22 states (including Louisiana) and includes the winners and finalists of the world’s four Grand Slams: the U.S. Open, Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon.

The event was a draw for college coaches and high level organizations jumped at the chance to have their kids playing directly in front of college coaches. The events were held in places like San Francisco (USF), Auburn, Brown and Ohio State to name a few. Unfortunately, the events of COVID lead to the concept being scrapped and losing steam.
