The Ocala/Marion County VCB proudly hosted the YMCA National Long Course Swimming Championship in July 2024. Held at Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training (FAST), this event welcomed over 800 athletes from across the country as the culmination of the YMCA Swimming Year. This prestigious championship not only brought together talented young swimmers but also provided a significant economic boost. With an estimated impact of $2.4 million, the event showcased Ocala/Marion County as a premier swimming destination. This event will also be held in Ocala during 2025 and 2026.
