On Saturday, Aug. 16, the Snohomish County Sports Commission attended the 2025 RaeQuan Battle Youth Basketball Clinic at the Tulalip Youth Center. The camp was open to children from kindergarten to 12th grade, and Battle returned to his hometown to teach campers the fundamentals of a sport that brought him to the collegiate and professional leagues.

On Friday, Aug. 22, the 2025 K.J. Choi Foundation Seattle Junior Championship AJGA Qualifier was hosted at Snohomish Golf Course (Par 72). The 18-hole, stroke-play tournament brought in 60 golfers, boys and girls ages 12-19, with a handful traveling from Florida, California, Oregon and Canada.
