“What’s Your Sport? We Host Them All.” 

That message became the driving force behind the new hype video. From a cinematic showcase designed to highlight the energy, versatility, and identity of Salt Lake as a premier sports destination.  

Instead of keeping the game where you would normally expect it, we reimagined it. Rugby takes over the steps of the Salt Lake Capitol Building, showing jaw dropping mountain and city scape. Fencing stretches across the iconic Bonneville Salt Flats. Ice skating and judo rise above the city on top of the Salt Lake City Public Library, while volleyball is set against the skyline atop the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City. 

The video continues to highlight Salt Lake’s urban side, bringing hockey and basketball into the heart of downtown to showcase the accessibility of the city and its public transit connections. From city streets to mountain peaks, every shot was designed to show that sport here is not limited to one venue or one setting. It is part of the full Salt Lake experience. 

The result is a bold and cinematic look at what makes this region different. World-class competition paired with iconic landscapes, downtown energy, and alpine backdrops creates an atmosphere you simply cannot replicate anywhere else. 

The new hype video captures the edge, energy, and experience that makes Salt Lake unique. A place that continues to prove it is “Built to Host. Born To Play.”
