Nestled in the back forty of Snohomish County in Bothell rests the Wildlife Committee of Washington (WCW) Shooting Range, a large outdoor space dedicated to several shooting disciplines including rifle, pistol, shotgun and archery.

From June 6-7, USA Archery and Next Step Archery hosted the 2026 USA Archery Washington State Outdoor Championship at the WCW FITA Range where approximately 80 archers, mostly from Washinton state but a few from Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas and California, competed in barebow (recurve), basic compound, compound, fixed pins, longbow, para compound, para recurve, recurve and traditional recurve disciplines, all in preparation for the Junior Olympic Archery Development and Target Nationals events.

Concurrently with the championship event, Next Step Archery held the 2026 Pacific Northwest Open, a non-elimination Swiss-Style bracket, tailored to any skill-leveled archer seeking an opportunity to experience a national-level tournament with head-to-head matches.
