Valley Forge Sports Hosts an Incredible June in Montgomery County, PA

Valley Forge Sports is thrilled to be hosting 12 events this month, with a total of seven different sports and five events new to the area. June will see more than 15,000+ room nights sold and an estimated $18 million in economic impact.”

Montgomery County continues to be a premier destination to host sports tournaments and the Valley Forge Sports team of the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board is proving just that.

The team is thrilled to be hosting 12 events this month, with a total of seven different sports and five events new to the area. June will see more than 15,000+ room nights sold and an estimated $18 million in economic impact.

The YMCA National Gymnastics Championship & Invitational, happening Jun. 20-24, will be the largest indoor event ever held in Montgomery County, with over 2,500 gymnasts traveling to the area from all over the U.S. This new-to-the-area event is estimated to bring in more than 8,000 room nights.

“The 2024 YMCA National Gymnastics Championships & Invitational is not just an event; it’s a culmination of hard work, dedication, and the spirit of community,” said Mubarak “Mo” Simmons, Gymnastics Director at Willow Grove YMCA. “This championship will spotlight the incredible talents of young gymnasts from across the nation. Hosting this significant event in Montgomery County and working alongside Valley Forge Sports has been a remarkable experience. Their support has been instrumental in bringing this event to life, and we are thrilled to showcase the athletic excellence and supportive community that defines the YMCA in such a dynamic setting.”

  • NXT 2026 Meltdown Lacrosse Tournament

    “NXT’s largest boys summer event. From top high school competition to the festival feel for the youth, join the annual tradition that is the Meltdown Lacrosse Tournament. This event sold out last year with 15 states, 237 teams, and over 4,600 athletes participating. Family-friendly block scheduling: spend half of the day on the field, and the other half experiencing Philadelphia and the surrounding areas in one of the country’s most historic areas.”

  • Ardmore Rock n’ Ride / Pennsylvania State Criterium Title Races

    Ardmore Rock N’ Ride is a community fundraising event, benefiting Narberth Ambulance Emergency Services. This free, outdoor, family friendly event presented by Main Line Health, features an official USA Cycling-sanctioned bike race, a multi-stage concert featuring nationally renowned talent produced by Rising Sun Presents, a youth bike race, and a family fun zone. *NEW in 2026* this event will serve as the Pennsylvania State Men’s & Women’s Criterium Title Race! The event will also highlight Ardmore’s amazing business community, both small businesses and those associated with Suburban Square. 100% of net proceeds will benefit Narberth Ambulance, and ensure our community has access to life saving 911 services provided by highly trained professionals with state-of-the-art equipment.
