Thank you to the amazing volunteers at the IRONMAN 70.3 Washington Tri-Cities race! The Tri-Cities community banded together and had over 1,300 volunteers sign-up for the inaugural race. IRONMAN and Visit Tri-Cities are so grateful to each and every person that filled a variety of stations and roles throughout the course of the event. Whether it was out in the water with the athletes, supporting them in transitions, or out on the streets helping direct traffic – the race couldn’t have happened without them! Volunteers are truly the lifeblood of something of this magnitude, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the volunteers’ hard work and support to see this race through to the end.
