Whatcom Events is announcing that the Mt. Baker Hill Climb is sold out this year. Registration is capped at 450 riders and our waitlist is also full with over 50 racers signed up.

We were honored last year to have 2x World Hill Climb Champion Phil Gaimon join us for the race. He not only won with a time of 1:14:42, he claimed the Mt Baker Hill Climb KOM. His presence played a significant role in our event selling out on August 28, 2023, helping put the Mt. Baker Hill Climb on the map. His record will be tough to beat! Phil shared his experience, saying, “Mt. Baker Hill Climb was well-run, safe, scenic, and challenging but with a positive atmosphere. I had tons of fun racing and meeting all of the riders, and I’ll keep an eye out for more reasons to return to Bellingham. This was a perfect way to check Mt. Baker off of my list, and I’m excited to share the episode of Worst Retirement Ever with you all.”
