Auburn‑Opelika’s disc golf courses do far more than host tournaments. In August alone, players logged 458 rounds and 681 hours across Tumble Tree DGC, The Rock at Spring Villa, and The Graveyard at Spring Villa, which equals about 1,974,260 steps and 1,504 km or 935 miles of walking, a clear signal of healthier daily activity and time spent together on the course.

This past weekend, Auburn-Opelika Tourism hosted Rumble on the Rails, a soccer tournament that brought 130 teams and 1,700 players, coaches, and spectators to the area. The event utilized six venues: Wire Road Soccer Complex, Opelika Sportsplex, Floral Park, West Ridge Baseball Complex, and Moore Stadium.
