Since 2009, Prospect Wire has been in the tournament business. With so many events over the years, there have been quite the collection of champions. For the longest time, one group stood out above all the rest:

NEXT LEVEL BASEBALL (Tallahassee, FL)

The NLB group has long stood at the top of the PW Championship mountain, each year finding ways to add to their trophy mantle. Since their first championship in 2012 at the Fall Championships in Port St. Lucie, to their most recent, a 2025 National Championship win in the 15U division last summer, NLB has shared the spotlight with no one else…Until now

Kangaroo Court/Top Tier Roos, a program based out of the Tampa Bay area, has been attending Prospect Wire events for over a decade. Much like Next Level Baseball, the Roos got their 1st PW Championship at the Fall Championships in Port St. Lucie. Theirs came 4 years later in 2016. From there, the Roos would become one of the first PW Spring Champions, when they won the Elite Youth Championships in 2017, followed by taking the 13U & 14U divisions of the NextGen Spring League in 2018. They defended their Spring League 13U title in 2019, the final year of the league. Since then, they have continued to chip away at the 13U & 14U levels, winning numerous spring and fall events. Their HS teams (Top Tier Roos) have also contributed to the mantle, winning several big summer events over the years.

On July 13th, Kangaroo Court 13U Tallo (playing up in the 14U Division) took down all competitors, wrapping up the 2026 Summer Classic 14U Championship with a 12-4 run rule win over the Space Coast Renegades Elite. The victory for Tallo gave the Roos organization 22 overall championships, now tied for the most in PW history!

“We are so proud of the Roos for joining such a highly respectable organization like Next Level Baseball. For years, we thought no one would ever catch NLB, as they would add a title or two each season. But the Roos have proven they were up for the task,” remarked President Brian Werner. “Both NLB and The Roos deserve a huge round of applause for their success. Not many can say they have been doing it for over a decade and still going strong!”
