Two weekends ago, we officially kicked off a new era for Prospect Wire with our first-ever PW Futures event โ€” focused on the next generation of players in the 8Uโ€“12U divisions.

Our inaugural 12U Spring Championship took place at the newly remodeled Chain of Lakes Complex in Winter Haven, FL, and it did not disappoint.

๐Ÿ† Champions: Florida 9 Baseball

๐Ÿฅˆ Runner-Up: Five Star Select

A competitive championship matchup capped off an incredible weekend of youth baseball and set the tone for what PW Futures is all about.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ โ€œThe feedback from teams was outstanding. They loved the energy, the level of competition, and especially the social media coverage highlighting their players throughout the weekend. It created a true event atmosphere for these young athletes.โ€

โ€” Ryan Binas, PW Futures Director

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ โ€œGetting this first event off the ground was an important step for us. It allows us to start showcasing the PW Futures brand and demonstrate to other destinations what youth Prospect Wire events can look like.โ€ โ€“ Brian Werner, President of Prospect Wire

PW Futures is designed to bring the same high-level experience, organization, and exposure that Prospect Wire is known for โ€” now tailored for youth players and teams.

With more PW Futures events coming this summer in South Florida and Ogden, UT, weโ€™re excited to keep building momentum and growing the brand nationwide.
