Vancouver Lake Park recently hosted the Spring Sprints Regatta, a USRowing-sanctioned competition organized by the Vancouver Lake Rowing Club. The event brought rowing crews to Vancouver Lake for two days of sprint racing and on-water competition.

Vancouver Lake spans roughly 2,400 acres and stretches more than two miles across, providing the open water necessary for race courses and warm-up areas. The lake is bordered by Vancouver Lake Regional Park, a 190-acre shoreline park with approximately 2.5 miles of lakefront, offering space for boat launching, team staging, and spectators during regattas.

Local rowing programs regularly train on Vancouver Lake, and events like the Spring Sprints Regatta demonstrate how the venue supports organized rowing competitions and other paddle sport events in Southwest Washington.
