Autumn is just around the corner, and with it comes the back-to-school season and the Ann Arbor Sports Commission in full swing. The team will travel across the country to attend summits and educational seminars – to stay current on the latest trends while exchanging innovative ideas. Along the way, they’ll share its core values and practical tips for hosting successful events – ranging from event operations and volunteer outreach to hotel coordination and beyond.
We’ll start the season off with a classic September double-header – the S.P.O.R.T.S. – The Relationship Conference in Columbia, South Carolina, and the 4S Summit in Annapolis, Maryland. After that, we’ll be hitting the road to Columbus, Ohio, for October’s TEAMS Conference + Expo. Join us to meet the real stars of the A2 Sports Commission team, like Director Meaghan Hughes and Sports Event Manager Zachary Buck. They’ll show you how Ann Arbor offers the perfect triple threat for sporting events – more options, better service and small-town charm.
