Explore Flint & Genesee welcomed the 51st Gus Macker 3 on 3 World Tour Basketball Tournament to downtown Flint, Michigan on July 28th & 29th. Hosted by the Salvation Army, this event featured 20 courts, 650+ teams, competitive games, food truck vendors, and community resources.

Bracket play, free throw, 3-point, and slam dunk contests provided excitement and competition for all involved.

All proceeds for this event support the Salvation Army’s L.I.F.E. Center which offers programs and services to Flint Area Youth at no-cost. Programs include Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, Pre-Apprenticeship, Skilled Trades, Health & Fitness, Literacy, Tutoring, Dance, Theatre, Judo, Music, Violin, Music Production, Character Building, Fundamental Sports Training (Basketball & Volleyball).
