Day 2 was all about growth, lead generation, and turning ideas into action. From live leads to impact-driven giving, we packed in powerful insights and unforgettable moments.
A special thank you to Pensacola Sports for proudly sponsoring our Education Sessions, Event Organizer Showcase, and Summit Panels at the inaugural Playeasy Innovators Summit. Your support helped bring valuable conversations and connections to life, and we’re so grateful to have you as part of this event.

🍳 Morning Kickoff:
We gathered back in the ballroom at Hotel West & Main for a buffet breakfast and opening remarks.
Playeasy Co-Founder Ryan Quigley opened the day with an inside look at Playeasy’s lead generation tools – including current capabilities and exciting updates coming soon to help destinations drive more event business.
🎤 Event Organizer Showcase:
We turned the mic over to the planners themselves!
10 event organizers from across the country shared what they look for in a host partner and gave a preview of events currently up for bid.

A huge thanks to:
- Patrick Cansfield – AJGA
- Ruby George – United Grid League
- Yohann Offredo – World Street Workout/Calisthenics
- Ben Dantowitz – USA Roundnet
- John Kenny – French Creek Racing
- Al Stauffacher – American Broomball Alliance
- Mark Campion – Center Court Events
- Debbie Caruso – PGC Basketball
- Karly Kaminsky – EPYSA
- Mark Cooke – Firecracker Sports
Destinations asked live questions, made real-time connections, and walked away with leads and fresh ideas.

💼 Sales Best Practices Panel:
Next up, we heard from destination pros on what works when it comes to booking more business.

Shoutout to Abby Owens (Explore Utah Valley), Rich Mackey (Rochester NY Sports Commission), Pernell Edwards (DistiNCtly Fayetteville), and Al Stauffacher (Twin Cities Gateway) for sharing practical advice on how they win events and build strong community partnerships.
🏆 The Purpose Project:
One of the most meaningful moments of the week—celebrating four incredible organizations selected as Playeasy Purpose Project recipients. Each received a donation on behalf of the nominating destination:

- P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, nominated by James Adler, Buffalo Niagara Sports Commission
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico, nominated by Carlos Deliz, Discover Puerto Rico
- Freedom From Hunger, nominated by Rachel Dailey, Valley Forge Sports
- Rochester Accessible Adventures, nominated by Rich Mackey, Visit Rochester
It was a powerful reminder of the impact our industry can have beyond the field.
⚾ Evening Sendoff:
We closed out the week with a night to remember—kicking things off at Xfinity Live! before heading to the Phillies vs. Red Sox game. Great people, great conversations, and a perfect way to celebrate a successful Summit.
