Prospect Wire Baseball officially wrapped up its 2025 summer season, hosting a total of 544 teams across multiple events, surpassing the program’s historical summer average. Among the summer’s biggest highlights was the Memorial Day Classic, which broke new ground as one of the most well-attended and competitive events in Prospect Wire’s history. The atmosphere, talent level, and overall execution helped set the tone for a summer of high-quality baseball from start to finish.
“Our team takes pride in delivering events that matter,” said Brian Werner, President of Prospect Wire. “This summer brought its own set of challenges and wins, but what remained consistent was the experience we provided to players across the country. That’s what drives us.”
Florida proved to be a major success story this summer, with events across the state—especially along the Treasure Coast—standing out for their energy, competition, and overall turnout. The PW National Championship is wrapping up the season on a high note, solidifying Florida as a continued hub for top-tier Prospect Wire events.
Meanwhile, in Utah, the Ogden Open showed clear momentum, continuing to grow in just its second year and reinforcing the region as a rising destination for high-level competition. With increased excitement from teams in the area, the event is quickly becoming a staple of the summer calendar.
“Utah has embraced what we’re building,” said Rob Sitz, CEO of Prospect Wire. “It’s always exciting to see a newer market respond with energy and support. We’re looking forward to building on that momentum.”
Next up: the Fall season kicks off with the Labor Day Classic West at the Peoria Sports Complex, spring training home of the Padres and Mariners. As always, the focus remains on giving players a platform to compete, be seen, and grow through the game.
