With unlimited access, businesses can manage their own profiles, promote special offers, and create content that directly targets event visitors. All of this is seamlessly integrated under the Destination’s Playeasy subscription, making community collaboration easier and more impactful than ever before.
What We Heard
Destinations have expressed ongoing challenges when it comes to involving local businesses in sports events. Communication between Destinations and local businesses often proves to be difficult at scale, as many businesses remain unaware of when events are happening or how to get involved to promote their offerings.
Local communities have also expressed a desire to get involved by offering deals and discounts to drive more traffic, but they lacked a simple way to run these efforts across multiple events. This disconnect meant that Destinations and their local businesses were missing out on opportunities to align and benefit from the sports events in town.
What We Built
Destinations now have the ability for their local businesses to gain access to Playeasy to see nearby events and create content that can instantly be shown on on their Playeasy Destination profile and all sports event pages – all as a part of their Destination subscription.
This Community Collaboration offering empowers businesses to manage their own profiles, view all upcoming events in the community, and opt to create promotions either for individual events, or to apply to any upcoming event in the Destination with a few clicks. On the backend, your businesses can access real-time reports to measure their impact.
How it Works
- Invite your businesses in to manage their profile
- Invite the businesses of your choosing in to manage their own profiles on Playeasy. It’s simple – add their email, they can create a login, & we’ll pass over some instructions on how to get started.
- Managers can view upcoming events & create discounts
- Business managers will be able to see a full dashboard of all upcoming events in your Destination. In just a few clicks, they can choose to create custom discounts for individual events, or create a general promotion to automatically appear on any events you’re hosting!
- Automatic email alerts to stay in the know on new events marketed
- Every Monday, active business managers on Playeasy will receive an automated email listing all upcoming events in your Destination, so they can stay in the know, get prepped for visitors, and choose to create promotions.

These promotions are listed on their Playeasy Destination profile, all of their Playeasy event pages, and on Visit York County’s website through the Playeasy Elements integration.
Today, Visit York County shares these event pages with their Event Organizer partners, so attendees can plan their trip and see nearby discounts in advance. When visitors attend events, they are also invited to scan QR codes in person that lead to Visit York County’s website page with all of their local promotions listed through Playeasy.
