How many tourism producing events will you host in 2025? (generate 20+ hotel rooms per night) 

We anticipate hosting 25 to 30 tourism-generating events in 2025.

What is your biggest event? How many hotel room nights are generated on peak night(s)?

Our largest event is the ‘Event Name,’ currently hosted in ‘Destination Name’ through 2026. During peak nights, it generates around 2,000 room nights.

Have you grown geographically in 2024 or project geographic growth in future years? 

Our footprint initially started in the Southeast and along the East Coast, but we’ve recently expanded into the Midwest and Northeast. We’re open to continued growth and are excited about the potential for further expansion into new markets.

What makes a Destination stand out when selecting a host?  

For our weekend tournaments, we look for Destinations that can offer 6-10 courts, ideally all under one roof at a single location. Events run from Friday to Sunday, so proximity to hotels, local attractions, and restaurants is a major selling point for prospective teams. Additionally, having support staff provided by the facility, such as assistance with finding scoreboard operators, is a significant advantage for us as event hosts.

Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, are you looking for new locations to host events? What geographic areas are you most interested in, or are you open to opportunities across the United States? Are you interested in going international (if so, where?).  

We’re particularly interested in expanding into states including Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, but we’re open to other Destinations that offer the right combination of weekend availability, suitable facilities, and attractive incentives. We’re also open to exploring international opportunities, depending on the location.

When can Destinations expect to see a new RFPs/Opportunities from your Organization? If you have an RFP currently listed, are you still looking for interest? When are the best times for Destinations to reach out to you if they are interested? 

We’re always on the lookout for new weekend events during the regular season, but our RFP for the ‘event name,’ our largest annual event, will be available by Spring 2025. Please feel free to reach out anytime if your Destination is interested in hosting one of our weekend tournaments, which typically run from February to June, or our major event in late June.

Does anyone from your team attend Sports Tourism Conferences? (If yes, which ones) 

We’ll be present at CONNECT in Milwaukee and US Sports Congress in Florida.
