The Sports Division of Northstar Meetings Group, organizer of the TEAMS Conference and Expo, TEAMS Europe, and the EsportsTravel Summit, has opened its bidding process to identify potential host-city partners for TEAMS and the EsportsTravel Summit. The leading conferences for sports-event and esports-event organizers, are open for the following years: TEAMS 2030–2035, and EsportsTravel Summit 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2030.
TEAMS and the EsportsTravel Summit are the preeminent gatherings for organizers of traditional sports and esports tournaments and events, respectively. TEAMS is the exclusive home to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s SportsLink and NGB Best Practices Seminar, while the EsportsTravel Summit is the exclusive co-location partner for the U.S. Esports Federation.
In 2023, both events experienced exponential growth and generated record-breaking numbers. In its 25th year, TEAMS welcomed the largest number of new event organizers and attendees in its history, attracting more than 1,200 participants and generating an economic impact of more than $11 million to the host destination. The EsportsTravel Summit also welcomed the largest group of organizers and attendees in its history, with more than 350 participants taking advantage of the opportunity to learn, network and generate business development.

Destinations interested in bidding have until February 1, 2024, to submit their bids. Interested cities are encouraged to use the time before that date to ask questions they may have about the bidding process.
