  • The Innovators Summit by Playeasy & Compass
    on July 19, 2026 at 4:32 pm

    #### *To hear more about our requirements and what we’re looking for in a host destination, check out our special episode of The Playeasy Warmup. ➡️* The Innovators Summit by Playeasy & Compass is a 3-day, in-person gathering designed to bring together the leaders shaping the future of sports tourism, destination marketing, and event experiences. More than a traditional conference, the Innovators Summit is a collaborative working environment where destinations, event organizers, and industry partners come together to share ideas, test new technology, and actively influence what comes next for the industry. Built at the intersection of innovation and real-world application, the Summit delivers a highly interactive experience blending thought leadership, hands-on product engagement, and peer-driven collaboration. Attendees don’t just learn — they contribute, providing direct input that shapes the evolution of Playeasy & Compass technology and the broader destination ecosystem. **A Unique Value for the Host Destination** The Innovators Summit is purpose-built to attract event organizers — the decision-makers who select host cities for tournaments, championships, and large-scale sporting events. For the 2027 host destination, this is a meaningful opportunity: attendees include active event organizers who are evaluating locations, building relationships, and looking for their next venue. The Summit includes a structured familiarization tour, developed in partnership with the host destination, giving event organizers a firsthand look at your venues, infrastructure, and community assets — the kind of access that directly influences future event placement decisions. In short, hosting the Innovators Summit means putting your destination in front of the right people, at the right moment, in the right context. **What We’re Looking For in a Host** We are seeking a 2027 host destination that is not only capable of delivering a seamless event but also eager to serve as a true partner in building the experience. The ideal host will embrace the Summit’s core mission — pushing the industry forward through innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to enhancing the visitor experience. This includes a willingness to actively engage with and implement Playeasy & Compass technology, contribute ideas, and help bring the Summit to life in a way that reflects your destination’s unique identity. While accessibility, venue quality, and infrastructure remain essential, equal weight is placed on creativity, partnership, and the ability to deliver memorable, immersive experiences both inside and outside of scheduled programming — from curated networking to showcasing local businesses and community assets that leave a lasting impression on event organizers and industry leaders alike. **The Bigger Picture** The Innovators Summit is where industry leaders come to connect, collaborate, and co-create the future. The 2027 host destination will be an extension of the Playeasy & Compass team — helping deliver an event that not only brings people together, but drives meaningful progress across the sports tourism and destination marketing landscape, while generating real, lasting value for your community.

  • GRIT Vs GRIND East-West Showcase Camp
    on July 18, 2026 at 1:21 am

GRIT VS. GRIND: EAST-WEST SHOWCASE — About the Event Grit vs. Grind: East-West Showcase brings together elite student-athletes in an East-versus-West format during the week of Juneteenth, a time of year rich with meaning and already alive with celebration, family gatherings, and community pride across the country. It’s a natural home for a youth football and cheer showcase: a week where competition, culture, and community come together, giving families a reason to travel and a reason to celebrate, all in one destination. This is a first-time event, and we say that plainly, not as a caveat but as an invitation. What makes this launch different is the caliber of leadership standing behind it: an executive board of high-level, experienced sports marketing, event operations, and destination sales professionals, an established 501(c)(3) mission, and an operational infrastructure already built and running through UpStart Sports Marketing Science LLC. We encourage destination partners and sports commissions to visit our website and review the executive board directly, the same team that will be sitting across the table with you from day one.

  • Game of the Americas All American Bowl Week
    on July 18, 2026 at 12:57 am

About the Event Game of the Americas: All-American Bowl Week is a new rights holder entering the youth sports tourism marketplace, and we say that with confidence, not hesitation. Every young destination event needs a credible foundation, and ours starts with proven leadership. We encourage destination partners and sports commissions evaluating this opportunity to visit our website and review the executive board directly: the operators, strategists, and industry professionals who stand behind this vision and who bring real experience in sports marketing, event operations, and destination sales to the table. The Operational Engine What sets this rights holder apart from a typical new event is the infrastructure already built to support it. UpStart Sports Marketing Science LLC serves as the operational arm of the organization, owned and operated by our 501(c)(3), Legend2Legacy Foundation Inc. UpStart runs a national network of Regional Directors, National General Managers, and National Team Mom Directors, a grassroots activation team built specifically to drive awareness, generate room nights, and put heads in beds for host destinations. This same network also facilitates the soft sell of the event well ahead of arrival, working alongside our strategic partners to build market demand long before a single family books a hotel room. Strategic Partners & the Roadmap Ecosystem Our nonprofit mission is what brings strategic partners to the table, not the other way around. We work with organizations like the NAIA, along with partners in financial literacy, mental health, personality assessment, NCAA recruiting education, and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), to give every family a roadmap guide through nuanced, direct conversation. This layered partner ecosystem is what builds real community around the event, and it is a big part of why this rights holder has staying power in the marketplace, especially within the All-American showcase camp category. More Than a Showcase Camp: A Convention This event is built to be a convention, not just a showcase camp. The difference is in the activation calendar: daily training, workshops, and seminars open not only to traveling families but to the local, regional, and national public, both live on-site and via livestream from the right market. Layered on top of that is real upside for destinations and rights holders alike: working with state coaches associations and youth sports group partners, this event carries genuine potential to grow into a coaches convention, extending its economic impact and its audience well beyond the athletes on the field.

  • Football Tech Championship series Flag Mania
    on July 17, 2026 at 8:03 pm

The Legend2Legacy Championship Series is a premier three-day youth flag football experience designed to create an exceptional experience for student-athletes, families, coaches, officials, vendors, and host communities. The series begins the last Friday in January 2027 and continues through the end of July 2027, strategically following favorable weather patterns across the country. Winter events are hosted primarily in the Southeast and Southwest, while spring and summer events expand into the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast. Each tournament is expected to attract between 60 and 100 teams, averaging approximately 80 teams per event. Teams consist of a minimum of 11 athletes, with approximately 80% traveling from outside the local market. While 20% of participating teams are expected to be local or within driving distance, many choose to stay in partner hotels to keep their teams together throughout the tournament weekend, generating valuable overnight stays and visitor spending for the host destination. The tournament schedule begins on Friday with team check-in, followed by late check-in at the venue on Saturday morning. Pool play begins at approximately 8:45 a.m., with every team guaranteed a minimum of three games in a round-robin format. Saturday evening features an Under the Lights standardized athletic testing combine, providing athletes with verified performance data in a professional event atmosphere. Sunday consists of single-elimination playoffs, championship games, and awards presentations. Every event includes a Vendor and Resource Village that connects student-athletes and families with colleges, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, sports performance professionals, recruiting resources, and community partners. Following each event, participants are invited to a comprehensive virtual educational series covering recruiting, college eligibility, academics, leadership, financial literacy, NIL education, mental wellness, and other resources that support long-term student-athlete success. Legend2Legacy Foundation is seeking long-term partnerships with destinations interested in establishing annual championship events that generate hotel room nights, visitor spending, community engagement, and lasting economic impact. We welcome collaboration through convention and visitors bureaus, sports commissions, chambers of commerce, local businesses, grant opportunities, in-kind support, and community partnerships to build sustainable events that grow year after year.
